The Red Tree birdcage roller frame 4 inch Malta is a 4-wire cage frame with a 1/4-inch shank. It is built to hold a standard roller cover through a full job.

The 4-wire cage supports the cover evenly around its full circumference. As a result, the cover stays round instead of flattening under pressure.

In particular, this is what it performs best at:
- Antifouling application on hulls
- Topside paint and primer rolling

In practice
A wobbly frame is a real problem on antifouling work. Even pressure across the roller is what keeps coat thickness consistent.
