The Red Tree fibreglass resin roller 7 inch Malta is built for fibreglass and epoxy laminating work. Like the aluminium version, it does not absorb resin into its cover.
Why it works
So more of the loaded resin stays on the laminate where it belongs. That matters most against the clock, since catalysed resin has limited working time.
Suited to
In particular, this is what it performs best at:
- Polyester and epoxy laminating resin
- Fibreglass cloth and mat wet-out
- Repair and reinforcement work on hulls and decks
In practice
A roller that hoards resin forces more frequent reloading. A resin roller built to release instead keeps the wet-out process moving.
