Description
Overview
The Red Tree microfiber shed roller cover Malta is built with a shed-resistant microfiber nap. It is made for smooth, lint-free application of marine paints and enamels.
Why it works
Shedding is the roller problem every painter runs into eventually. Fibres pull loose into a wet coat, dry in place, and leave a rough surface.
Suited to
In particular, this is what it performs best at:
- Marine enamel and topside paint application
- Antifouling coats where a clean finish matters
- Any job where shedding fibres would show
In practice
Microfiber construction resists that shedding far better than standard fabric covers. That’s most noticeable on the first few uses, when a cheaper cover sheds the most.
Sizes and options
This cover rounds out Red Tree’s roller cover range. DockShop stocks it alongside the Dynex line for the lowest-shed option.
Why DockShop stocks it
Redtree Industries builds its applicator range for demanding coating work, so the quality holds up under regular use. Because DockShop imports the line directly, the exact size or pack a job calls for is normally in stock, not a special order. That matters most on a job with a tight schedule, when a supply delay is not an option.
Care and storage
However you use it, rinse or clean the brush or roller promptly afterwards, based on the coating type. A little care after each job keeps it performing well for longer, so it is ready for the next coat without a trip back to the shelf.
