The Red Tree thick chip brush 4 inch Malta is a fuller-headed version of the standard chip brush. It holds a heavier load of paint or primer per dip.
Why it works
That extra bristle volume means fewer trips back to the paint tray. So coverage on larger areas is faster than with a standard chip brush.
Suited to
In particular, this is what it performs best at:
- Priming or painting larger surfaces efficiently
- Epoxy and resin application, used once
- General workshop and maintenance painting
In practice
It is still an economical, largely disposable brush. That keeps the same advantage for epoxy and resin work where cleaning isn’t practical.
